William Henry Ford was a painter in oils, watercolour and pastel, and hailed from Norfolk. His working career flourished and developed in the 1950's when he became a member of the Norwich Art Circle. He exhibited widely during this time at many provincial galleries, his favoured subjects being the open landscapes and coastal scenes of Norfolk. His work is usually impressionistic, and follows in the great artistic style and tradition of the Norfolk painters Edward Seago and Sir John Arnesby Brown. Exhb 1955-1970.
