A Superb Large Vintage Mid C20th Maritime Oil on Board " Shipping in a Squall" by the C20th British Artist G. Howard. This fine painting measures 24 inches x 17.5 inches & is elegantly frames in an ornate gilt wood & gesso gallery frame with overall measurements being 28 inches x 21.5 inches. The painting is in good condition with some surface craquelure commensurate with its age, & no damage or losses. The painting is signed by the artist (lower right) and inscribed verso.
