An Excellent Mid/Late C19th Victorian English School Sketch of a Mare & Foal executed in black & white chalks, circle of JFK Herring jnr (1820-1907). This exquisite antique drawing measures 15 inches x 11.5 inches & is framed in its original polished oak Victorian frame with gilt wood liner and overall measurements of 18 inches x 14.5 inches.. Unfortunately the label has been lost from the back panel although details on the reverse of the drawing refer to J F K Herring. The drawing is therefore listed as "circle of" J F K Herring jnr. The drawing is in excellent condition.
