An Excellent Early C20th Edwardian Oil on Canvas depicting Sheep Driven in a Lakeland Landscape signed & dated 1911. This fine period painting measures 21 inches x 14 inches & is elegantly framed in a heavy ornate Edwardian Gilt Gesso Frame with overall measurements being 30 inches x 23 inches. The painting is in good condition & is signed "G A Mitchell" & dated 1911. The heavy ornate frame has some lumps & bumps commensurate with its age but is an impressive example of ornate frames of this period.
